For more than 25 years, Richard Kay Kardhordó has been shaping stories through film, photography, and the art of casting. Based in Bratislava, Slovakia, Richard is a filmmaker and portrait & travel photographer whose work bridges the worlds of cinematic storytelling and visual artistry.

As the founder of CineJessy Casting Agency in Bratislava, Richard has played a key role in transforming scripts into living, breathing stories. CineJessy — established in the late 1990s — has become a respected name in Central European film and advertising, collaborating on hundreds of productions and representing authentic faces that bring emotion and depth to the screen.

Richard's professional journey began behind the camera, where he served as Assistant Director and Casting Director on more than 25 feature films and over 1000 television commercials. His deep understanding of both the creative and human sides of filmmaking allows him to find "that something special" that makes a character unforgettable.

Throughout his career, Richard has fulfilled his cinematic dreams — working with and meeting some of his idols such as Steven Spielberg, George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Sean Connery, and even appearing on screen alongside Bruce Willis and Colin Farrell.
